As per the latest reports, an active terrorist hideout has been busted by security forces on the outskirts of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. The Indian Army informed about the incident today and also added that security forces have recovered warlike stores in that area.
The Chinar Corps took to social media and Tweeted about the active terrorist hideout. A joint operation began in the morning in Harwan which is on the outskirts of J & K and is about 19km from Srinagar.
The post also mentioned that security forces have recovered UBGL with grenades, GPS, AK magazine & administrative stores in the joint operation. The operation was launched early morning with the help of Jammu and Kashmir police.
J&K security forces busted active terrorist hideout
A few days back four militants were killed in a gun battle in Srinagar and till now more than 100 militants have been killed by security forces. As per reports, the terrorists were local residents of Srinagar who did not surrender. All of them were affiliated with the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist group.
It should be noted that most of the operations are taken place in South Kashmir which is filled with militants.
