As per reports, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was planning to shift to Lucknow in February 2020 but couldn’t because of the coronavirus pandemic. However, the recently central government issued a notice to Congress general secretary to vacate the Lodhi estate house within one month.

According to sources, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra already had plans to shift to Lucknow and even the house was decided but the pandemic happened and now it is not confirmed whether she will shift to the same residence or not. As per reports, the house belongs to late Congress leader Sheila Kaul.

It should be noted that Housing and Urban Affairs Ministery canceled Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s government accommodation at the elite Lodhi Estate saying Gandhi’s family are not protected by the SPG group anymore so they are not eligible for this bungalow. The Centre also asked Priyanka to clear her dues which she did immediately after the notice.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to shift to Lucknow?

Randeep Surjewala who is Congress spokesperson called it a frustrated decision of the central government. Now, if Priyanka Gandhi Vadra shifts to Lucknow, the state will have four main leaders CM Yogi Adityanath, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav and BSP leader Mayawati.
