As per the latest reports, the Chinese official has denied the fact that China lost its 40 soldiers in the violent clash between India and China. According to Chinese official Zhao Lijian, this is fake news and their People’s Liberation Army (PLA) did not suffer from any casualties in the face-off on June 15 in the Galwan Valley.

The Chinese foreign ministry also stated that India and China had a meeting on June 22 in order to solve the issues between them. Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said Indian and China are trying to resolve the differences through diplomatic and military ways.

Responding to a specific question, Chinese official and spokesperson Zhao said news going rounds in the media about 40 PLA soldiers is fake and they have occurred no casualties during the India-China face-off. However, India confirmed that 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives during the clash on LAC in Ladakh.

Till now China has not revealed how many soldiers died in the battle and how many were injured. However, Union minister Gen VK Singh alleged that China faced more casualties as compared to India. Meanwhile, India and China are trying to resolve the issues and control the situation through dialogue and consultation.
