Sunni Central Wakf board: Ram Mandir happens to be the most talked about topic in India, The Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Area Trust has begun the construction of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir recently and PM Narendra Modi has been invited for Bhoomi Pujan. But the Sunni central Wakf board hasn’t started any work on the five acres of land given to the Muslim community to build a mosque in lieu of Babri masjid.
The Babri masjid demolition case was going on for a long time but this time the final verdict was made by Supreme Court on February 5 which was approved by the Yogi government. Sunni Central Wakf board in Ayodhya were given 5 acres of land to build the mosque, the land is 20 km away from Ayodhya headquarters and about 200 meters behind Thana Raanhi in village Dhanipur Tehsil Sohawal.
When will Sunni Central Wakf board build the mosque on 5 acres of land?
The 5-acre land proposal to build the mosque was accepted by Jufar Faruki, who was then chairman of the Sunni Central Wakf Board. The Ram Mandir dispute was going on for a long time and finally, the verdict was made. In an interview, Jufar Faruki said the land was allotted to the Sunni Central Wakf board on March 31 and they are planning to build a hospital, library, and research centers along with the mosque. According to Jufar Faruki, he would have started the construction till now but his tenure has ended.
However, Mohsin Raza who is Uttar Pradesh’s government Minister of State for Minority Welfare stated in an interview that many proposals for constructing the mosque and other things. The views of religious leaders have also been taken in the matter. Due to the end of the Sunni Central Waqf board’s tenure and coronavirus, the construction has delayed. The government will soon set up the board and construction of the mosque will start.
