As per reports, COVID-19 cases in Delhi will soon cross 90K mark, the national capital reported 2,442 fresh infections on Wednesday.

COVID-19 cases in Delhi: Coronavirus has affected the whole world including India and Delhi and Maharashtra are the wost hits states with the maximum number of infections. As per reports, COVID-19 cases in Delhi will soon cross 90K mark, the national capital reported 2,442 fresh infections on Wednesday. However, Arvind Kejriwal thinks the situation of COVID-19 cases in Delhi is improving.

According to the state health department, currently, there are 89,802 COVID-19 cases in Delhi out of which 27,007 cases are active. Till now around 59,992 patients have been recovered from the virus and the death toll has risen to 2,803 including 61 new casualties.

COVID-19 cases in Delhi

Yesterday, 19,956 tests were conducted in the national capital. Recently CM Arvind Kejriwal was warned about the situation but he feels it has improved. According to him, Delhi is recovering at a good speed and death rate has also come down. He also stated that it was expected that unlock will increase the number of cases.

Meanwhile, a 500-bedded COVID center is being set up at the Commonwealth Games Village by Delhi government and it is expected to be open from Monday.
