Defence Minister Rajnath Singh organised a meeting today with General Bipin Rawat who is the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) and also three service chiefs. In the meeting, the situation of Galwan Valley violent clash was discussed and top security personal were told to keep an eye on Chinese activities strictly.

As per reports, in the Defence minister’s meet, top security forces have been given full freedom to take action against China with any aggressive behaviour. According to two senior officers, complete freedom of action should be given to the commanders as per the amendment.

Defence minister’s meet: Here’s what Rajnath Singh said

Earlier, on Friday an all-party meeting was organised by PM Narendra Modi to discuss the situation of India-China border. It should be noted that the clash between India and China in the Galwan Valley happened on Monday in which 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives. The incident has increased tensions between both countries and steps are being taken by the government to make the situation better.
