Delhi coronavirus update: With over 5000 new infections reported in the 24 hours, India gets into the most significant one-day spike, taking the confirmed cases to 96,196 and death toll to 3,029 from 2,872.

The total of covered cases in India is 36,824 and 56,316 active cases. Globally 4.7 million people are infected with the virus. Delhi coronavirus update says that it has reached to over 10000 overall cases till today and 160 deaths so far, which is very high and scary.

India enters its fourth phase of lockdown today as the lockdown extended till May 31 with some significant relaxations in no containment zones. While markets, offices, industries, and businesses are now allowed to open with substantial restrictions.

Inter-state and intra-state movement with vehicles and buses permitted with the consent of the state and ministry of health, The limits on domestic flights and Metro rail services will continue, and schools, colleges, and other educational institutes will remain closed.

In the fourth phase of lockdown, state governments have the authority to decide the color of zones. The Centre has announced the lockdown 4.0 with a guideline of prohibited/restricted activities, period (7 pm to 7 am), and location (containment zones) that will apply uniformly.
