After CBSE class 12th results were declared with over 80% pass rate, Delhi university officials said that higher marks mean higher the DU cutoffs 2020.
As many students secure 90 to 95% in the Central board of education conducted Class 12th exams, DU officials claimed that in comparison to last year DU cutoffs 2020, this year would be higher as the students securing above 95% have increased by 119% and above 90% by 68%.

As due to the ongoing pandemic the Delhi university admission has been halted and for the revised dates, the Delhi university officials are waiting for the University grads Commission (UGC) to issue the academic calendar of this year. As soon as the calendar is out, Du Cutoff 2020 dates too would be released accordingly.
High CBSE class 12 results would lead to higher DU cutoffs 2020
Last year in 2019, DU cutoffs 2020 were highest for Hindu College at 99% followed by LSR and SRCC. As this year two students have secured a full 100%, this means that the top colleges under Delhi University would issue DU Cutoff 2020 at 100% and then later the percentage would be decreased in the number of DU cutoff 2020 list.
As per academicians, this year’s cutoff in comparison to past few years would only be slightly higher and wouldn’t impact that much. However, this years CBSE class 12th result has been good for all, even without some papers which were not conducted due to COVID-19.
