Gujarat COVID-19 cases cross 50,000 mark, records 1,026 new infections in 24 hours

Gujarat COVID-19 cases: According to the Health Department, Gujarat recorded 1,026 coronavirus cases in 24 hours after which the total number of cases crossed 50,000 mark in the state. Currently, Gujarat's tally stands at 50,465, and till now 2201 patients have lost their lives.

Gujarat COVID-19 cases cross 50,000 mark, records 1,026 new infections in 24 hours

Gujarat COVID-19 cases: According to the Health Department, Gujarat recorded 1,026 coronavirus cases in 24 hours after which the total number of cases crossed 50,000 mark in the state. Currently, Gujarat’s tally stands at 50,465, and till now 2201 patients have lost their lives.

Till now 36,403 people have already recovered in the state and 744 patients were discharged on Tuesday. Recently, the Surat district reported 298 new cases followed by Ahmedabad at 199. Hence, the total number of cases have reached to 10,840 in Surat and 24,767 in Ahmedabad. Talking about Vadodara, it reported 75 new cases, and 58 new infections were reported in Rajkot.

Gujarat COVID-19 cases: 

Currently, Gujarat has 11,861 active coronavirus cases and as per reports, 82 patients are critical. Around 4,16,520 people have been quarantined at home and quarantine centers. Across the state, Ahmedabad has recorded the highest number of cases which is 19,413 and Surat stands at 6,961. Gujarat COVID-19 cases are increasing rapidly.

It should be noted that coronavirus cases in India have already crossed 10 lakh mark and the number of new infections are increasing rapidly. Maharashtra and Gujarat are the worst-hit states in India with the maximum number of cases.
