As per the latest reports, many states have extended lockdown in order to curb the spread of coronavirus. Government officials in several districts have announced a complete shutdown in the view of COVID-19 which has affected 5 lakh people across the country.
States including Jharkhand and West Bengal have extended lockdown till the end of July. Talking about Tamil Nadu, the worst affected areas have been completely closed. Speaking of states like Maharashtra, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Telangana, they have decided to continue the lockdown till the end of June.

It should be noted that India recently crossed 5 lakh coronavirus cases and the death toll remains at 15,685 till date. Govt officials are trying to curb the spread of deadly viruses by putting restrictions once again.
In Assam, the state govt has extended lockdown for 14 days in Kamrup Metro district including Guwahati from 7 pm on Sunday. In Delhi after witnessing the rise in cases, CM has decided to extend the ongoing lockdown but schools will remain closed till July 31st. Karnataka CM said the focus should be on promoting commercial activity and current guidelines will continue in the state.
