After the lockdown in India, IIT Bombay announced early vacations from April 1 to May 31, 2020. However, uncertainty is looming over the spring examination. Students worried about the examination cancellation rumors.
Then, the IIT professors told them not to believe in the false news. The college students advised following the guidelines updated on the official website.
Subhasis Chaudhuri (IIT Bombay, Director) requested the students to stay calm during the pandemic situation. During the pandemic condition in India, the children are away from the college campus at home.
However, the widespread false news affected the mindset of the students. They are in the condition of agony and anxiety. Furthermore, the academic activities suspended in the institution from March 14, 2020.
The IIT was closed on the outbreak of the COVID19 virus in Indian states. An expert committee advised the government to organize an online examination for the students.
Then, all the IITs planned out the examination scheme. The colleges are also following the social distancing norms to keep themselves away from the coronavirus.

After the semester completion, IIT Roorkee prepared the plans of the semester examination for the students. Meanwhile, IIT Madras told their college students that they could give the exams at their nearest IITs.

Still, It is also essential for them to stay safe in the pandemic condition. They worried regarding the spread of false news about the college studies and examination schedule.
The staff and administration of IITs advised them to follow the official website notifications, and the students should not panic.
Apart from that, IIT Guwahati and IIT Ropar are working on the development to create useful things for the corona warriors.
There are some plans prepared and put forward for implementation. Students and the research teams have come up to show support.
Moreover, IIT Guwahati signed a contract with the pharma company on the research and development of the coronavirus vaccine. By September, they can begin the production the medicine.
