Jammu and Kashmir: According to the statement of Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh, around 22 terrorists have been killed in the past two weeks in nine different districts of Jammu and Kashmir. He also stated that out of the 22 killed terrorists, six were the most wanted who have many cases against them.
As per DGP Dilbag, in the last two weeks, nine Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorists have been killed in Shopian, out of which four were killed in the operation which happened today morning.
In a press conference, DCP asserted that security forces in Jammu and Kashmir had killed 9 Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists during the operation. Among them, three were top chefs who have many cases against them and were also involved in the killing of innocent people and attacks on security forces.

According to the senior police officer, security forces have carried out 36 operations in Jammu and Kashmir this year, in which 88 terrorists have been killed so far. DCP said as per sources less number of terrorists have joined the terrorist groups this year, and most of them have already been executed during the operations.
He added that right now, there is no report of Taliban terrorists, but many Pakistani terrorists have joined the Lashkar-e-Toiba and JeM terrorist groups. Mr. Dilbag also added that an organization named Terrorist Revival Front TRF is sending terrorists to the terrorist groups Lashkar-e-Toiba and JeM.
