According to Jammu And Kashmir police, 4 militants including a Pakistani national were killed in the recent encounters conducted in Srinagar and Kulgam. As per reports, two operations took place in the valley in which three militants and one a foreign terrorist who was JeM Commander Tayab Waleed were encountered on Sunday without any collateral damage.

Police organised a search operation in the Zadibal area of Srinagar which later led to gun battle and three local militants affiliated to Islamic State Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK) and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) were killed. Before the encounter, internet services were suspended in the valley.

As per Jammu And Kashmir police, the three terrorists have been identified as Srinagar resident Shakoor Farooq Langoo, Shahid Ahmad Bhat, and Mohsin. Apart from them, a Pakistani terrorist was shot to death but there were two more militants who managed to escape.

J & K police said US-made M4 carbine was recovered from the encounter. IGP Kashmir also asserted that till now 106 militants have been executed and there are still 150-200 militants left in the valley and most of them belong to South Kashmir.
