As per the latest reports, Jharkhand govt has decided to extend lockdown till July 31st in the view of a rapid increase in coronavirus cases in the state. According to the State Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, all restrictions applied in the state currently will continue till the end of July until further notice.
The notification released by Sukhdev Singh stated that State Executive Committee has ordered to extend the current lockdown in Jharkhand till July 31st, 2020 in order to curb the spread of coronavirus cases in the state. The decision was taken under section 22(2)(h) of the Disaster Management Act 2005.

The restrictions will continue in the state like before until further notice. It should be noted that the Jharkhand govt has allowed some activities outside the containment zones but inter and intra-state movement of buses, religious places, salons, multiplexes, malls, swimming pools, gyms will remain closed until further notice.
Till now Jharkhand has reported 2,294 coronavirus cases including 29 positive fresh infections on Friday. So far 12 people have died because of the infection and 1,647 people have been recovered and discharged, as per state health department report.
