Mumbai University expanded the summer vacations in the affiliated colleges. All the professors and the lecturers advised conducting the virtual classes from home.

Mumbai announced as the coronavirus hotspot with 160 positive coronavirus cases. The students of the university are getting online study material from the teachers.

Therefore, they can cover the syllabus before the examination as the Central government announced the lockdown 2.0 on April 14, 2020.

Meanwhile, the MU officials are planning to start the exams after the lockdown lifted on May 3, 2020. In Maharashtra, there are around 3K COVID19 infected cases.

Earlier, the Bandra and the Markaz incident raised the concern of the state government. As the state also witnessed maximum deaths.

There is no control in the hike in the number of cases in the state. Earlier in the month, Uday Samant (Higher & Technical Education State Minister) interacted with the Director of the Technical Education (DTE) and State University heads.

Moreover, the ministry formed an expert committee planned to examine the lockdown lifted.

Students of Mumbai University are completing their degree course studies from their homes. On the other hand, the HRD Ministry started the YUKTI portal to help the school and the college students.

The Union Human Resource Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal talked about the web portal and its benefits for the children.

Indian parents are worried about the education of their kids. Most of the recognized universities shut down after the coronavirus outbreak and the two lockdowns announced in the country.

All the entrance and the board examinations have canceled until further notice from the ministry. It is to stop the spread of the deadly disease in the country and follow the social distancing measures.
