According to the latest reports, Nepal’s Parliament has unanimously passed the Constitution Amendment Bill to include Indian territories on their administrative map. India has termed its artificial enlargement of territorial claims.

It should be noted that Nepal’s Parliament recently approved the new political map of Nepal claiming India’s land as its own. There’s a lot of tension going on between India and Nepal from the last few days and now Nepal’s parliament has passed this bill.

As per reports, the bill was passed after 57 members approved it and voted in its favor. The action was taken by Nepal after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced an 80-km-long road connecting Lipulekh and Dharchula in Uttarakhand on May 8.

Later, Nepal protested against the road claiming it passes through Nepal. Due to which Nepal parliament retaliated and has now passed a bill and new map calling Lipulekh, Kalapani, and Limpiyadhura as its own territories.

However, the Indian government has not commented about the issue yet but it will be interesting to see Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s next step.

Meanwhile, clashes between India and China are at its peak. Both the countries had a violent face-off due to which many Army soldiers lost their lives. Indians are still waiting for PM Narendra Modi to speak about the matter.
