Rajnath Singh Birthday: Politician, former BJP president, and currently serving as the Defense Minister of India, Rajnath Singh has been serving the country since he was 13 years old and continues to do so at the age of 69.

Other than serving the country as Defence Minister, he previously was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh from 2000- 2002 and Cabinet minister in the Vajpayee Government as Minister of Road Transport and Highways in 1999- 2000.

As BJP remains in power, Rajnath Singh in the first tenure of the Modi government held Home Ministry and was in power from 2014 to 2019. During the tenure of President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice President Ram Nath Kovind.

He was succeeded by Amit Shah. Currently, the former BJP president handles the Ministry fo Defense and assumed office in 2019 under president Ram Nath Govind, Prime minister PM Modi and was preceded by Nirmala Sitharaman.
