South Bengal: As per reports, two people were killed while making crude bombs in south Bengal’s Murshidabad district on Friday night. Apart from the two people, five others were also injured. The incident took place at Suti.
According to police, the two men lost their lives in an accidental explosion when they were making crude bombs. Two were killed on the spot and five others were severely injured. The two men have been identified by the police as Maharul Sheikh and Taiful Sheikh and both were around 35 years of age.

After the explosion, the injured men were taken to the nearest local subdivisional hospital. Out of 5, two men are said to be in a critical state. As per police investigation, these men were hired to Suti to make crude bombs.
Bengal police is still investigating the matter and are trying to identify them. According to a senior officer, the house in which crude bombs were being made has been damaged severely. One of the men who was badly injured was later taken to the Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital.
