The government has started to reopen them as promised in the phase of Unlock 1.0. Hotel, religious places, and restaurants are set to open from June 8. The government has provided SOP for religious places, restaurants, and hotels.
Unlock 1.0 SOP for hotels
The usual mask, hand hygiene, contactless thermal scanning, and social distancing is essential. Staff should take extra care and wear gloves and mask at all times. The elderly should be protected from being exposed to any frontline worker.
Work from home should be encouraged, if possible. Proper crowd management should be in place, with no mass gatherings, different entry, and exits for guests, keeping a safe distance in the elevator and at escalators.
The guest’s history (medical and travel) with id should be taken on the declaration form. Contactless processes like QR code, online form, digital payments, should be encouraged. Luggage disinfection, avoid guests from containment zones, and inventories should be managed appropriately. AV, posters, signboards should be put in place specifically to Covid-19.
Unlock 1.0 SOP for religious places
All the usual precautions should be taken as they are done at other public places. But there is some specific precaution like staggering the visitors, footwear made inside the vehicle, taking shoes of the group together that came to visit together, etc.
The market around should follow social distancing. Touching the idols/holy books will not be permissible, choir and singing groups will not be allowed. Devotes should bring their mats and no Prasad etc. shall be allowed. The lavatories, washrooms, and floors should be cleaned multiple times.
Unlock 1.0 SOP for restaurants
Seating arranged in a manner that social distancing is maintained. Disposable menus, one-time use napkins, contactless ordering, takeaways, and payments should be encouraged. Buffet services with social distancing are allowed with proper norms.
The home delivery staff should screen before the delivery. They were cleaning with disinfectant (using 1 % sodium hypochlorite) at all knobs, doors, elevators, washrooms fixtures to be made. The kitchen should be sanitized at regular intervals.
