As per reports, RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh who was also the vice president has resigned from his post. Raghuvansh is very close to former Chief Minister of Bihar Lalu Prasad Yadav but recently RJD faced a great loss when the vice president and five MLCs resigned just before Bihar elections.
It should be noted that former RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh is currently under treatment at AIIMS hospital, Patna as he was tested coronavirus positive. RJD is going through a tough time as many party leaders resigned from their post and have joined Nitish Kumar’s party ahead of Bihar elections.
Here’s why RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh resigned before elections
However, as per reports, RJD leader Raghuvansh and other leaders left the party because they were unhappy with a new member Bahubali Rama Singh who recently joined RJD. Rama Singh is known to be a mafia in Bihar. It is expected that more RJD members will leave the party soon and join Nitish Kumar’s JDU.
So far Sanjay Prasad, Mo. Qamar Alam, Radha Charan Saha, Ranvijay Kumar Singh, and Dilip Rai have resigned RJD and have already joined the JDU party. Talking about the new member of RJD Rama Singh, he is quite popular in Vaishali and is the same person who participated in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections against Raghuvansh.
