The actor was among the first from Bollywood to have made a donation of Rs 25 crores to PM Cares Fund and ever since, many others followed.

Once again, he has proven how he is always going to stand by the country with his recent act of kindness where he has contributed 3 more crores to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for making PPEs, masks, and rapid testing kits.

In the world where nothing is constant, there is this man, Mr. Akshay Kumar (Rajeev Bhatia), born and bought up in a middle-class Punjabi family by an Army Man. He has always stood by the army and been an active contributor to the growth of the society and health of the soldiers who are fighting for India.

Recently he had contributed Rs. 25 Crores to PM Cares Relief Fund for Corona Patients and just when people cannot seem to get enough of it, he once again, he has proven to be true to his words as he stands by local authorities of Mumbai by offering additional Rs 3 Crore for the making of PPEs, masks, and rapid testing kits.

He had recently released a music video to uplift the mood and spirit of Indians. The song is titled “Muskurayega India” and it also features other Bollywood actors and in fact, he has been constantly speaking about the pandemic on social media, spreading awareness regarding the same.

Coronavirus in India has also been on a rise as the death toll has crossed the 200-mark with 30 new deaths and the total affected patients have crossed 6000. Meanwhile, the ongoing Coronavirus lockdown is about to come to an end of April 14, however, it turns out, it is likely to be extended, as has received the support from various States.

Bollywood has united in the cause, and while there are many who have made contributions to fight this pandemic, they have also been ensuring that there is enough awareness, while trying to do their best to fight the virus.

Other celebrities who have also been in the news for their generous donations apart from Akshay Kumar include the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan, and many others for that matter.
