Rajkummar Rao who was last seen in Made in China with Mouni Roy and Shimla Mirchi has signed another film ahead of the year- Telugu remake of Hit. The film is said to be helmed by Dr Sailesh Kolanu and he will be seen playing the role of a troubled cop.
Sharing the news and confirming actor Rajkummar Rao to play the lead role, Taran Adarsh, Bollywood critic shared the same and tweeted- its official Rajkummar Rao to play the lead role in Telugu remake of film HIT. The film will be produced by Dil Raju and Kuldeep Rathore.

The movie starring Rajkummar Rao is now in pre-production stages and after the COVID-19 scenarios dim a bit, the movie will go on floors this 2021.
The movie Hit, the Telugu version revolved around cop drama who works around the homicide team and is on a mission to find a woman, Rajkummar Rao too will be seen getting into the character of a troubled cop on lookout for the missing woman.

The director on choosing Rajkummar Rao for the performance said that he has been following him since his Shaitaan work and knows that he would suit the role properly. He would get the darkness out with his mature performance and balance out the troubled cop role.
