Filmmakers Rumi Jaffery was recently interrogated by Mumbai police regarding Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. The director recorded his statement today at the Bandra police station in the ongoing investigation. As we are all aware, Sushant committed suicide on June 14 at his Mumbai residence.
A few days back, film critic Rajeev Masand was interrogated in the case and today filmmaker Rumi Jaffery was spotted outside the police station. Apart from them, around 36 people have been interrogated in the case including Sushant’s family, his staff, his close friends, and colleagues. Late actor’s rumored girl Rhea Chakraborty has also recorded her statement in the case.

According to the postmortem report, Sushant was suffering from severe depression and the cause of his death was suicide. However, the Mumbai police is still investigating the case. Recently, Rhea asked for a CBI investigation.
It should be noted that Rumi Jaffery was working for with late actor Sushant and Rhea on a film. In an interview, Rumi said he aware that Sushant was suffering from depression from 5-6 months but did not ask him as he thought he would be uncomfortable. According to Rhea, Sushant got happy around Rumi and happy to work with him on a project.
