International Dance Day 2020 celebrated on April 29, 2020. The day observed to mark the birth anniversary of Jean-Georges Noverre (French Dancer).
Jean credited for starting the modern ballet dance form. Moreover, UNESCO’s partner of performing arts Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute celebrated Dance Day the first time in 1982.
