Jayeshbhai Jordaar Box Office: Film collects Rs. 3.25 cr; ranks as ninth highest opening day grosser of 2022

The Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar was released yesterday across 2250 screens in the domestic market. Despite the hype and promotions the film started off on a less than appreciative note. With lacklustre reviews and low-key word of mouth the business of Jayeshbhai Jordaar has been equally dismal.

In this box office report, we look at the opening day collections of Jayeshbhai Jordaar while comparing the same to previous releases of 2022. Collecting just Rs. 3.25 cr Jayeshbahi Jordaar ranks as the ninth highest opening day grosser of 2022. Though the film manages to fare better than the Ajay Devgn film Runway 34 which had collected Rs. 3 cr, it fails to surpass other releases like Attack – Part 1 which collected Rs. 3.38 cr, The Kashmir Files which collected Rs. 3.55 cr, Radhe Shyam which collected Rs. 4.44 cr and Heropanti 2 which had collected Rs. 6.50 cr.

On the other hand, leading the list of highest opening day grossers of 2022 are previous releases like K.G.F – Chapter 2 which collected Rs. 53.95 cr, RRR which collected Rs. 20.07 cr, Bachchhan Paandey which collected Rs. 13.25 cr, and Gangubai Kathiawadi which collected Rs. 10.50 cr.

Currently, Jayeshbahi Jordaar continues to run in theatres; however with critic and audience feedback being less than appreciative the business of the film does not really enjoy a bright future. As per trade predictions Jayeshbhai Jordaar will face an uphill task at the box office in the coming days.
