According to India’s left-arm leg-spinner Kuldeep Yadav, it is difficult to bowl in front of Australia’s Steve Smith and South Africa’s AB de Villiers as they both are challenging batsmen.
Kuldeep Yadav said both the batsmen Smith and De Villiers have unique abilities and bowling in front of them gets challenging. Talking about Smith, Yadav said he mostly plays him off the back foot as takes the shot very late which becomes challenging.
Speaking about South African swashbuckler AB de Villiers, Kuldeep Yadav feels he is a good player and has a unique style of batting. He also added that it’s good Villiers retired as he hits a lot of runs which becomes scary.

Kuldeep Yadav did perform well in 2019 and accepts he lacked skills which affected his performance during the matches. In the interview, Kuldeep mentioned that he prepared well for World Cup 2019 and took as many wickets as he can. It should be noted that the left-arm spinner did not play well in IPL last year.
Kuldeep admitted that he lacked his skills and it is important to play regularly as it builds up confidence and players perform well under pressure. Yadav is fond of fellow spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and shares a special bond with him as he suggests him good values on and off the field.
Kuldeep Yadav feels Yuzvendra Chahal is like his elder brother who always supports him, they have played many matches together and never had a competition between them. But since last year they were not able to play together in the same match.
