Sachin Tendulkar says Malinga will have to change run-up routine

A few days back, ICC announced a new rule because of coronavirus which stated that players are not allowed to use their saliva on the ball for shining as it can spread the deadly disease. Also, players are not allowed to use any other substitute but can use their sweat.

Recently, Sachin Tendulkar keeping in mind the new rules asked Malinga on Twitter he will have to stop his signature step of kissing the ball.

However, the ICC has not put any ban on kissing the ball but the act might transfer the saliva on it unintentionally which can spread the disease. Apart from playing opposite each other Sachin and Malinga have been teammates till Sachin Tendulkar’s retirement in 2013. Currently, Sachin works for Mumbai Indians as a team consultant.
